  • You are very knowledgeable and intentional with each character. We can tell you’ve put the time into studying! Your answers were great .

  • One area of improvement is to work on making your voice bolder with diaphragm to help with volume and commanding a room while using your character voice. Right now you are coming across as too timid and soft-spoken.

  • Physically, be more free with your movement. Right now each character feels hesitant and nervous.



Energy, Expression & Engagement

Notes:

  • More energy and volume!

  • Be brighter, more confident and more energetic. Even in Elsa for Elsa and classical princesses. We are there to be leaders not wallflowers!

  • Be more animated as the characters would. Right now, you still bring an element of yourself into each character and it is making each one seem soft spoken and timid. As an acting role, we want to see you embody the characters. You know your guides exceptionally well! Don’t be afraid to be bold now!

  • Take initiative and speak more at parties. Don’t be afraid to step on the other performer’s toes. We want to see you lead activities and conversations because of how well you interact with the kids!


Time Management

  • Speak more at events. Trust that even though you’re still kind of a new performer, you are still allowed to take up space and have conversations! Because you have amazing ideas for conversations and stories.

Notes:

  • Just watch the wig guide found here for a refresher on where to place bobby pins! This video is also great for knowing how to handle your wig and avoid damaging bangs/styled portions.

  • Costumes and wigs are always returned in good condition.

  • Makeup is always stage-ready and character appropriate.

  • Practice your bold/commanding voice and record yourself. Pretend you have a room of 15 kids sitting in front of you and practice your transitions.

  • Ask friends or family to have mock-party conversations with you. Aim for a 3 min back-and-forth conversation without stopping, having your friend answer as the child might. Work your way up to 5 mins.

  • Practice your movement in front of a mirror. A great way to play with range is to start teeny-tiny and then go to huge, gigantic movement. Give your muscles permission to try new poses so they become more natural at events.
